I went to RMS this moring after having a two-year old batter replaced elswhere yesterday. The shop that replaced the battery told me that I needed to have the alternator belt tensioner replaced ($200+) and that the alternator also possibly needed to be replaced ($400+). I told ALL of this to RMS (whom I'd used 7 yrs ago with an older car), and they said they'd look at it. They called back an hour later to tell me that the alternator and related parts were just fine and that nothing needed to be done: $0 charged. They could have made a lot of money but chose to be honest instead. This has ALWAYS been my experience with them. When reading reviews on other sites, consider that most happy and satisfied customers don't leave reviews, but unhappy ones always do.
