I travel all over the country for work, and I try to stay away from big cities mechanics -- they tend to focus on volume over quality, and adjust their prices for the average auto-ignorant urban professional. RMS consistently delivers the quality of service I'd expect from a mom-and-pop shop in a small town. A rare find. I always take my car there when I need work done in Houston.

I have been using RMS auto care for 5 years. I found them because of their BBB certification and they definitely deserve it. They are always professional and honest. I am happy to pay the premium they charge for superb work, honest assessments, and trust I feel for them. Even if the price seems higher than other places, which they night not be I haven't looked, but if they are just consider that you'd still likely spend less money with them as they won't try to upcharge you or do more work that is unnecessary.

I needed a sweeping maintenance check for my 12-year old Chevy Malibu, so I was happy to see that RMS was running a special on a 40-point inspection. The results came to my phone and email in the form of an interactive report that guided me through green-yellow-red points on each inspection item. It was so helpful to be able to read through the technician's notes before hopping on a call to give the go-ahead on what was deemed to be necessary work. When I drove off the lot my A/C was working better than it ever has, and I had 4 new brake pads / 2 new tires at a fair price. Best of all, I feel knowledgeable regarding when my next service will be needed and what items will be brought up.
