Overall good, but still an issue with the alignment.

I had a very good experience with RMS. I wouldn't have gone originally because of the appearance from the road. Though, I don't know how an auto-repair shop should look cleaner...My roommate Jesse got brake work done on his truck the day before, and he suggested the place because of the friendly and quick service. They offered to get me a ride to work when I dropped my car off, and would have been willing to pick me up as well. I work up by the Beltway and I-45, which is at least 30 mins. from RMS. So, if my roommate didn't work in the same office, that would have been very helpful. The repairs all seem good. It was very helpful that they could take care of figuring out the problem, getting the parts, and making the repairs all in a single business day. Though they forgot to tighten the bolt on my windshield wipers, Jeff also didn't charge me for that. And I was told what was wrong when I first dropped it off, so I just did it myself. All in all, I felt comfortable at RMS, which is new for me in auto-care. Jeff puts in a good effort keeping the place friendly and quick. They treat it as a service, and it's an excellent one.

Work completed on time, but there are problems with the work that was done

RMS is about as good as it gets when you need reliable and honest service for your car/truck repairs. I have been using them for about 4 years for a variety of vehicles and they have always delivered the goods. Friendly, knowledgeable and honest service at a reasonable cost. Like one other poster, I too have had them turn work down as it didnt represent a valuable investment in my vehicle. In addition, and the best yet, was when I convinced a friend to take her 2001 Honda Accord there for a second opinion (as she was set to pull the trigger on a $2000 transmission replacement elsewhere) only to find that RMS, after diagnosing the problem, did a manufacturer recall search and found that not only was that car prone to transmission failure but that Honda USA had issued an extended transmission replacement recall good for up to 100K miles. Hers was at 77K. So with a diagnostic printout from Jeff at RMS and a huge smile we walked into The Honda dealership on the south loop and without a minutes hesitation after reading the letter, scheduled the car for a transmission replacement. That's right, brand new transmission for the small fee of having RMS accurately diagnose the issue. They could have easily charged us the two grand and we would have happily paid it. So yes, Im a fan of theirs. If you need your car problems accurately and fairly assessed, go see Jeff at RMS. Oh, and to the girl who claims they wronged her by compiling a comprehensive list of problems with her $700 vehicle - that's what good mechanics do. You take your car there and they tell you what is wrong and what needs to be fixed. One might even call it their obligation to do so. Just because an issue isnt bad enough today to land you at the side of a highway, doesnt mean it is to be dismissed. Its called preventative maintenance. Would you be happier if they discovered another issue that may cause you further problems and inconveniences, but decided just not to tell you because thats not what you were there for? Maybe you should have just exercised the option to have that one item fixed and thanked them for enlightening you on all your vehicles other deficiencies, rather than publicly trash talking some of few honest organizations in town. Anyway. If you want your care fixed by professionals with years of experience and have personalized serive to boot, you'll be hard pressed to beat RMS.

Set up my appointment on-line, dropped off my car and was called within 2 hours to pick up. They offer drop to give you a ride when you need one - always friendly and great customer service.

The guys did a great job repairing my 2004 Saab 9 3 The work was completed quickly and they even pointed out some other problems with the car. And the car is still running great. Thank RMS

Just fine. Looks like you discovered the problem and got it fixed at the price and in the time agreed. I shall confess, though, that I wish I saw your business less frequently.

I was treated promptly and fairly from my inital phone call to picking up by vehicle. I will do business with RMS again in the future.

Work was done in a timely manner and they also gave me a ride from home to the shop once my car was complete. Very much appreciated.
